For Doctors, Dentists and Healthcare Practitioners...

We applaud your efforts and commitment in helping your patients stop smoking. Nearly every smoker we have spoken with said that their doctor told them to stop.  You are making a difference.

Please tell your patients about our terrific smoking cessation system. As you know, most people want to give up tobacco, BUT, stopping and stay stopped is not easy without the proper support.

Hypnosis help many people to quit tobacco easily. Our system combines education and hypnosis. We help tobacco-users build motivation, we challenge their negative beliefs about quitting and we provide tactics for staying stopped. In the majority of cases, hypnosis makes quitting incredibly easy, eliminates fear and boosts confidence. We test, investigate, analyze and retest, and do everything we can to help tobacco-users find the right strategy to quit and stay stopped.

As you know hypnosis is already used to
treat IBS, to help patients manage pain, to help patients before and after surgery and during cancer treatments. Why not use it to help people deal with fears about quitting tobacco? Our system has helped many people quit smoking. Our clients say that withdrawal was a totally different experience after hypnosis! Please keep an open mind regarding the value of hypnosis in quitting tobacco.

Please feel free to check our For Smokers webpage for news on tobacco and use the Google Scholar Tool below for your own research. Never hesitate to call... we are glad to refer you to clients and let you know who among your clients would like you to know that they quit.

Treatments and Side Effects

There are risks to using Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). Pregnant women are advised not use the patch.  Because so many patch users wind up smoking anyway, be certain to warn your patients not to smoke while using the patch. Let them know about NRT side effects -- ask if there is any heart disease. Check for contraindications with other medications, particularly anti-depressants and asthma medicine. Warn patients that there is enough nicotine in used patches to poison pets and children. Let them know that they should stop using the patch immediately if they experience irregular heartbeat or experience nausea, vomiting, or rapid heartbeat.

Zyban, Wellbutrin and generic bupropion hydrochloride have side effects including dry mouth, insomnia, change in appetite, agitation, shakiness, skin rash and headaches. People who suffer from seizures should not take this drug.
